Established in 2002 by Traverse City, MI, native Chaz Stallman, Stallman Builders, LLC is a small independent company dedicated to superb craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Made up of seven skilled and knowledgeable carpenters, Stallman Builders has a unique and creative approach to all types of building projects, striving to keep all aspects of woodworking in-house. Stallman Builders has experience with and an understanding of a broad range of designs – from modern and contemporary to historic and traditional.

Our company is also committed to building “GREEN,” giving clients many choices that are earth-friendly.  We are completely aware of the environmental (and aesthetic) benefits of sustainable residential design.  We typically use everything from energy star efficient appliances, to alternative building supplies and materials where available.  This will be a growing area of focus within our company for many years to come.  We collaborate with the many trade professionals, local designers and architects, to make a project work well from start to finish.
